This is a good video.If you want to see a great video,go to youtube and search for the U of A`s 2010 band day show.There you will find a great band video but not a great band. This band makes great videos,but they are not a great band.Any decent college band plays a different show at every home game.The U of A Band plays one show in an entire season! Oh wait,they did have a pregame show too,which they sometimes did,even as the halftime show for homecoming. Usually The U of A band plays with a lot of control and discipline, but after The ASUSDMB blew them away,they were overblowing with horrible intonation and bad articulation.The thing about playing loudly is that you have to play that way every minute of every practice,in order to do it on game day. The U of A Band doesn`t work that hard at playing loudly especially during practice, so when they try to play loudly in performance they simply don`t have the chops. Every time this band performs, we are told that they are one of the top five bands in the country.The truth is:they submitted a video that was voted as one of the five best videos submitted.Making videos is really what this band is great at. This band should be a powerhouse in this market,but they are woefully inadequate as a college marching band.
