What It Is All About

Last night Arizona dismantled the mighty Duke Blue Devils to advance to The Elite Eight of the NCAA Basketball Tournament.The spring version of marching band,the basketball pep band,was right there with the team in Anaheim.Bear Down has rarely sounded so fine!Every member of that band has just experienced one of those moments that will stay with them the rest of their lives!Of course,we don`t know how much further the team will take them.Three games down and three to go,but rest assured that even if it all ends on Saturday,today`s feeling is priceless! The journey for the band started with a long weekend at The Staples Center in Los Angeles,for The Pac-10 Tournament,where the team fell one point and one second short. Then off to Tulsa,Oklahoma for two dramatic last second victories.Then to Anaheim for The Western Regionals,and if they complete the dream,they get to go to Houston for The Final Four.So, four expense paid trips like that, most people would call, a good year,but that is one hell of a great month! So,when you are considering what university to attend,try to put yourself into that kind of situation,because it is something you will carry with you your entire life!
